Description

Operating on multi-campus grounds, SHORE offers a broad and engaging range of co-curricular activities that consistently ranks us at the top of our game. Just like the academic lifecycle of a student, we care equally as much about our sporting programme and encourage every Shore boy to develop skills, sportsmanship and fair play!

Shore is seeking experienced and enthusiastic Learn to swim teachers and casual swimming coaches willing to play a role in the development and implementation of Shore's swimming program. Shore Swimming provides swimming lessons for boys and girls from 6 years of age with the aim of strengthening their swimming skills in preparation for the squad swimming program. Reporting to the Head of Swimming and working with a team of coaches you will have an opportunity to contribute to initiatives that will help shape the direction, structure, and management of the swim school.

This is an incredibly exciting time to join the Shore Swim Coaching team. You will have the opportunity to help build culture and a successful, cohesive team, one that invests in students from 6 years of age right through to elite level, providing pathways towards high performance swimming.

Your enthusiastic and positive attitude coupled with your genuine desire to develop as a best-in-class coach, will see you succeed in this role. You are willing to learn and continually develop to ensure delivery of the highest standards in programs and coaching. You will be rewarded with an attractive hourly rate!

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience as a Learn to Swim Instructor
  • Current Swim Australia or AUSTSWIM learn to swim qualification.
  • Current Swim Australia Teacher (or equivalent)
  • Senior First Aid & Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Working with Children Check (WWCC)

So, if you're looking for a role where you can work the hours that suit you, give you the ability to help shape our boys into top swimmers and have fun while you're doing it - we want to speak to you!
