North Harbour Hockey is New Zealand's second largest hockey association with over 6,000 players drawn from both urban and rural areas. The catchment area extends from Devonport to beyond Warkworth in the east, over to Massey and through to Helensville in the west. The Association manages year round competitions for clubs and schools, catering for all players from midgets through to maters, and beginners to elite. North Harbour Hockey is seeking a Chief Executive Officer with the proven drive and ability to enhance the participation and performance of hockey and its administration in the North Harbour region. The successful applicant will have the demonstrated capability to grow the revenue base that supports the organisation and the sport as a whole. Reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer is responsible for achieving North Harbour Hockey’s strategic goals and priorities. The Chief Executive Officer ensures the future of hockey is enhanced from both a strategic and financial perspective, and provides leadership to the North Harbour Hockey stakeholder family, including the Board, Committees, staff, sponsors and partners, and members. The Key Result Areas for the Chief Executive Officer are based on the current North Harbour Hockey Strategic Plan: - Commercial – continually advance the financial health of North Harbour Hockey; grow sustainable revenues.
