About the team - The Campus Experience Branch coordinates and optimises access to the on-campus venues and facilities for a diverse range of clients including National and State Sporting Organisations, sporting clubs, school groups, tourists, general public, event and sporting promoters. This includes a key focus on providing our clients effective delivery, coordination and superior customer service to run successful camps, conferences, tournaments and events on the Canberra campus, partnering across the ASC to effectively deliver these services for our stakeholders. 

About the role - As a Client Service Coordinator within the Campus Experience Branch, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to;

  • The coordination and provision of site facilities and services to ensure the effective delivery of events, high performance sports camps and community facility use held on the AIS campus
  • Liaising and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand strategic requirements and objectives and work together in delivering these activities to a high standard
  • Coordinating, managing and resolving facility bookings and scheduling to mitigate any conflicts that may arise
  • Effectively manage your assigned portfolio through the utilisation of event management software to ensure effective coordination and delivery of high-quality training, facility and event services
  • Across a 7-day week operating environment, ensuring the requirements of site users and high-performance camps are prepared and delivered appropriately, while maintaining the integrity of the multiple training environments that exist on site
  • Occasional inclusion in on-call roster that requires/may require weekend work, or outside ordinary work hours

About you

  • Demonstrated experience in bookings and coordination of events within a high performance sports environment 
  • Strong value for providing excellent customer experience and handling sensitive situations in a mature and effective manner
  • Passion for delivering high quality outcomes with a considered attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience working with, or willingness to learn, advanced booking management systems
  • Can-do attitude!
