As a Sydney Marathon Volunteer you will be working with event staff, charities, community and sporting groups, students, and other individual volunteers. Volunteers are needed in a wide range of roles at numerous locations around the 42.125km of course on event day (Sunday, 15 September 2024) as well as in the lead up to event day at the Pre Event Expo (Thursday, 12 September to Saturday, 14 September 2024).

Event Times: Volunteer shifts are approximately 6-8 hours and fall anywhere between 3am - 3pm (pending role and location).
