Knox Grammar School is an independent, multi-campus Kindergarten to Year 12 day and boarding school for boys, located at Wahroonga on Sydney’s North Shore. In addition to the single-sex campuses, Knox also operates Wahroonga Preparatory School, a co-educational campus for students Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Athletic Development Coach is responsible for coaching and executing strength & conditioning and movement skill-based sessions for school students aged 8-18 of all abilities, including KnoxFit and SWAT (Senior Weights and Training).
This is a casual role of approximately 10–15 hours per week during school terms. Weekday sessions are held from 2:00pm - 4:30pm and may also include Saturdays from 7:00am - 12:30pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise gym-based and outdoor sessions
- Facilitate KnoxFit and SWAT programs
- Teach foundational and advanced movement skills
- Implement a training age-appropriate program
- Communicate with students in an inspiring and engaging manner
- Complete administrative duties
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Certificate III or IV in Fitness
- In-depth knowledge and experience of Athletic Development
- Current CPR certificate
- Experience working with young adolescents, ideally in a school setting
- Level 1 Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (desirable)
- Exercise and Sport Science degree or equivalent (desirable)
- First Aid certificate (desirable)
