We’re currently on the lookout for a commercially driven and strategic Commercial Manager to lead the growth of OFC’s revenue and manage impactful partnerships that support football development and professionalisation across Oceania.

About The Role

This is a pivotal role within our Commercial & Communications team. You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the commercial team and build a high-performance culture within the team
  • Leading the growth of OFC’s commercial revenue, driving partnerships and monetization across major competitions and events, including the Professional League, Champions Leagues, and FIFA Qualifiers.
  • Executing the commercial strategy, supporting the Head of Commercial & Communications to deliver impactful sponsorship and revenue initiatives.
  • Managing end-to-end sponsor relationships, ensuring high-quality rights delivery, activation, and ongoing partner satisfaction.
  • Driving strategic alignment with brand partners, helping OFC secure long-term, purpose-driven collaborations.

About You

Our ideal candidate understands the commercial environment within the sport industry.

You are an ideal fit if you have:

  • At least five (5) years of commercial experience, ideally in sport, sponsorship, events, or media.
  • A track record of successfully securing and managing commercial partnerships.
  • Strong team leadership experience with the ability to coach, guide, and inspire.
  • Commercial acumen across rights packaging, campaign delivery, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint), and commercial reporting.
  • A collaborative approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Cultural awareness and a commitment to working effectively in the Pacific context.
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field (e.g. Business or Marketing) is desirable but not essential
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and digital project management tools.
  • Flexibility to travel and willingness to work irregular hours, including weekends.
  • Eligibility to drive in New Zealand, ability to satisfy Working with Children and Ministry of Justice criminal checks.

Additional language skills beyond English would be an advantage.
