About the role
With over 130 affiliated clubs spread across the vast regional landscape, Tennis West is committed to strengthening tennis communities across WA. To help us achieve this we are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced leader to take on the newly created role of Regional Tennis Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Tennis Participation, in this role you will lead a team of Regional Ambassadors to deliver tailored support and strategic initiatives to clubs, schools, coaches, and volunteers throughout regional WA. Through the implementation of a high-impact servicing plan, you will drive participation growth by diversifying the playing base, optimising tennis facilities, building digital capability, and helping shape the future of tennis across the state.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on community connection, strategic thinking, and driving real outcomes in sport development.
In this role you will:
- Lead and inspire the Regional Ambassador team to deliver exceptional service to clubs, schools and coaches.
- Develop and execute the Tennis West Regional Plan, aligned with state and national tennis strategies.
- Strengthen club sustainability through tailored support, strategic planning, and coach development.
- Build strong relationships with local councils, club, schools, volunteers, and other key partners.
- Monitor and report on participation growth, program delivery, and club engagement across regional WA.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Extensive experience in in the delivery and management of tennis venues, operations and programming.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication across diverse stakeholders.
- Strong administrative, budgeting, planning, and reporting skills.
- Ability to lead teams, manage change, and deliver outcomes aligned to strategic goals.
- Comfortable working flexible hours and travelling regionally as needed.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis West
