The Willetton Basketball Association Inc. seek a passionate, experienced, and visionary leader to take the reins of the Tigers NBL1 West Women’s Program for the 2026 season and beyond. Willetton has a proud history of success at the senior level and a deep commitment to developing our junior talent into representation at NBL1 level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the NBL1 Women’s program in alignment with Willetton’s values and long-term vision.
  • Build and maintain a professional, accountable, and inclusive team roster and culture.
  • Develop and implement a season plan and game strategy that maximises team performance.
  • Recruit and manage players and support staff within the approved budget, and in collaboration with club leadership.
  • Foster strong connections between the NBL1 program and Willetton’s junior and WABL development programs.
  • Represent the club professionally in the community, media, and at all official club and sponsor events.
  • Support and participate in community engagement, clinics, and promotional activities.
  • Attend all meetings of the High-Performance Advisory Committee (HPAC) as requested to provide updates and reports on the NBL1 program.
  • Build positive working relationship and take direction as required from senior leadership inclusive of the CEO, Talent & Coaching Manager and High- Performance Administrator.

We’re Looking For:

  • Proven coaching experience at the NBL1 level or higher (NBL, WNBL, College, etc.)
  • Excellent leadership, organisation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • A growth mindset and deep understanding of modern basketball systems and player development practices.
  • Ability to build a balanced, competitive roster and team environment inclusive of local talent.
  • Organised, committed, adaptable, and capable of working within a broader club structure.
  • A positive role model who leads by example both on and off the court.
