The Royal Life Saving Aquatic Academy is located on the grounds of Hills Sports High School in Seven Hills. The Academy has a long history in Sport development, Drowning Prevention, Training and Education and has now stepped into the Competitve Swimming Pathway. The squad is comprised of approximately 150 swimmers ranging from junior development to national qualifiers to open water and multi-class swimmers.
We are seeking a Swimming Coach to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be able to plan and deliver level appropriate training sessions to Mini, Junior and Development Squad members. They will also be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
Proven ability to coach a range of swimmers at a Stroke Correction, Mini Squad and Junior Squad level.
Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with program participants, parents and RLS staff.
Demonstrate drive and enthusiasm toward swimmer progress.
Set expectations and provide a consistently high level of professionalism that drives others to increase their capacity.
Demonstrate a high level of professionalism especially in physical appearance, written formats and interpersonal skills.
Work seemlessly as part of a coaching team.
The Squad program operates Monday - Saturday with a range of session times. The Junior Coaching team will need to be available of an afternoon from 3:15pm - 7:30pm and again on Saturday mornings from 7:00am - 1:00pm.
