We are seeking a temporary full-time Tennis Coach from Monday 20 April to Friday 26 June, and for Long Service Leave cover. Please note that there may be an opportunity for on-going work beyond these dates. 

The Tennis Coach will have the responsibility for ensuring the provision of an outstanding on-court Tennis program at Ascham.  

What You Will Do 

  • Develop, encourage, and grow participation in Tennis at Ascham in partnership with all stakeholders  
  • Ensure the continuing development of our teams across both the Junior and Senior school 
  • Promote Tennis as an enjoyable, healthy sport for people of all ages and abilities and in a safe and friendly environment  
  • Foster and encourage good sportsmanship and fellowship amongst all participants.  

What You Will Bring

  • A Tennis Junior Development Coach accreditation (or willingness to obtain) 
  • Demonstrated tennis coaching experience within a youth sports context and across the 4-18 years age bracket.  
  • Ability to be an effective team member, including initiative, passion, willingness to collaborate and people management skills to drive holistic sports involvement.  
  • A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children 
  • A demonstrated understanding of child safety and appropriate behaviours when engaging with children 
  • A valid Working with Children Clearance (WWCC) or willingness to obtain.
