Genazzano College is seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled, reliable, and motivated casual rowing staff for the 2026-27 season. The Genazzano Rowing program is one of the most prominent schoolgirls’ rowing programs in the country with a rich and proud 40 year history. The program caters for approximately 80 girls.

As a rowing coach at Genazzano you will:

• Guide student athletes (Years 8-12) through inclusive, engaging training sessions on and off the water, aligned with the Head of Rowing’s program.
• Commit to all training sessions, regattas, camps, and events, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
• Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment that values teamwork, resilience, empathy, and personal growth.
• Uphold high safety standards and best coaching practices while planning and delivering effective training sessions.
• Demonstrate strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
• Bring experience in rowing and coaching, a strong technical focus, and a passion for developing athletes of all skill levels.
• Assist with the operational aspects of the rowing program and contribute proactively as a team player.

About You

• Rowing Australia, Level 1 Coach Accreditation
• Marine recreational motor boat license
• Level 1 First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management
• A current Working with Children Check and Police Check
• Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle License (Optional)
