Deliver Lifesaving Skills Across Sydney

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Training Officer to deliver high-quality training programs across a variety of industries.

In this role, you will train and assess participants in courses such as CPR, First Aid, Pool Lifeguard, Swim Teacher and Department of Education programs. You will play a key role in ensuring participants gain the skills and confidence needed to make a real difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, high-quality training sessions to diverse groups
  • Facilitate assessments and support learner outcomes
  • Set up and pack down training environments (equipment, manikins, etc.)
  • Record attendance and assessment outcomes accurately
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues
  • Participate in ongoing professional development
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with the wider team

You are a confident communicator who thrives in a training environment and enjoys working with people from all walks of life.

Essential Requirements

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence (Class C minimum)

Desirable Requirements

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 / TAE40116 / TAE40110 + required units)
  • Relevant vocational competencies (e.g. First Aid qualifications)
