Tennis Australia, together with the state and territory Member Associations, is the governing body for tennis in Australia. We exist to promote and enable participation in our sport from grassroots players to elite athletes - delivering inclusive programs for all ages and abilities and investing in facilities nationwide.
We're striving to become the country's flagship tennis centre and talent hub, and we're looking for multiple Coach's to help us get there, joining our team at Queensland Tennis Centre on a casual basis.
Queensland Tennis Centre is one of the state's premier tennis facilities and is set to host tennis at the 2032 Brisbane Olympic and Paralympic Games.

About the role
As a Senior Coach, you'll deliver high-quality coaching across a range of programs - including Hot Shots, Adult, and Junior Performance - and private lessons, with a focus on player development, participant retention, and building your own private lesson client base. You'll also support and mentor less experienced coaches to help maintain QTC's coaching standards.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high-quality coaching sessions and private lessons that prioritise long-term player development
- Understand and support individual player goals, encouraging resilience and personal growth
- Develop and grow your own private lesson client base
- Support and mentor Assistant Coaches and Coaches, sharing knowledge and best practice
- Model QTC values and professional standards to help maintain a high-performing coaching culture
- Contribute to program growth and participant retention
- Build strong relationships with players, parents and private lesson clients, addressing concerns proactively and escalating where required
- Ensure sessions are delivered with appropriate risk management and safeguarding practices
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Experience delivering high-quality tennis coaching, including private lessons
- Experience building and retaining a private lesson client base
- Advanced coaching and player development skills
- Strong relationship-building and client management skills
- Mentoring and knowledge-sharing skills
- A current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Tennis Australia Membership and Junior Development Course qualification desirable
- A driver's licence and/or first aid certificate are an advantage
