Guided by our values of Courage, Unity and Excellence, we are building a high-performance culture across every part of our organisation. We are looking for a highly capable Paralympic Program Operations Coordinator to help create seamless, accessible and positive program experiences for our athletes, coaches and staff.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Paralympic Program Operations Coordinator provides day-to-day operational support across the Paralympic Program, ensuring athletes, coaches and staff have the timely information, resources and practical arrangements they need to participate effectively in program activities.

Based in our Brisbane office, this role will coordinate pathway camps and international program activities, support domestic and internationally hosted events, deliver assigned campaign logistics and provide structured project management support for priority Paralympic Program initiatives.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Pathway Program operations – coordinate the end-to-end logistics for Paralympic pathway camps and approved international activities, including travel, accommodation, transport, venues, catering, accessibility and participant communications.
  • Competition approvals and hosting – coordinate World Para Swimming approval and sanctioning requirements and work with event partners to deliver domestic and internationally hosted competition requirements.
  • Campaign logistics – partner with the Paralympic Campaign Delivery Lead to deliver assigned travel arrangements, uniforms, rooming lists, manifests, itineraries, schedules and readiness reporting.
  • Project management – manage nominated strategic projects from planning through to delivery, including milestones, budgets, risks, stakeholder coordination, reporting and close-out.
  • Program administration – maintain accurate participant, compliance, travel and financial records, coordinate onboarding requirements and distribute clear, timely information through agreed platforms.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A relevant tertiary qualification in sport administration, event management or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated experience in operational program or project management delivery.
  • Experience coordinating complex program activities, projects or events involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently coordinate travel, accommodation, transport, events, camps or tours across multiple concurrent activities.
  • Strong attention to detail and an understanding of accessible and inclusive operational delivery for athletes, coaches and staff.
  • Experience maintaining operational systems and compliance records, processing invoices and tracking expenditure against approved budgets.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain effective under pressure.
  • A proactive, service-focused approach and a growth mindset, always looking for better ways to deliver impact.
