We run a Youth Athletic Development program (YAD) at our Five Dock clinic, for junior athletes who want to get faster, stronger and more robust for their sport. Athletes are tested regularly, and follow programs built for their sport and stage.
We want a coach to take ownership of it. You'll coach the sessions, and you'll also help shape where the program goes next: how squads are structured, how athletes move up through the levels, how testing feeds into programming, and how we bring in more athletes through our club partnerships.
What you'll do
Coach YAD group and semi-private sessions
Run athletic testing and turn the results into programs
Write and progress individual and squad programs
Work with our physios and EPs on athletes coming back from injury
Help grow the program: talk to parents, follow up enquiries, run sessions at our partner clubs, and suggest what we should build next
What we offer
Two gyms totalling 260 m², with force plates and an anti-gravity treadmill
A multidisciplinary team: physios, exercise physiologists, a chiropractor, massage, and other S&C coaches
Mentoring and ongoing CPD support
Room to grow the role as the program grows
Essential
Experience coaching strength and conditioning, ideally with youth athletes
Available on weekends
Working With Children Check, or able to get one
Current First Aid and CPR

Desirable
An exercise physiology or exercise science background (a current or completed EP degree is a strong plus)
