| Detailed Description | We are a fun; ocean loving, nurturing swim school that have unique ways of delivering and teaching swimming lessons. We are looking for individuals who are experienced swim teachers with a love for teaching swimming (children in particular). The right candidate will be open to new ideas on how swimming is taught, love the outdoors and saltwater!
Job Tasks / Desired Qualities: -
Thorough knowledge and application of teaching swimming and water safety skills -
Adapt your teaching approaches to the age, experience and ability of students and easily progress their skills throughout a term of lessons -
Prepare and clean up equipment used for teaching -
Participate in regular in-house instructor training sessions -
Always be punctual -
Have a professional attitude towards teaching, self presentation and communication with others -
Thrive on being an enthusiastic team player -
Motivated and driven to provide excellent service and get results! - Client service experience handy!

Be available to work weekdays - morning and afternoons and Saturdays Please keep in mind when applying that the Icebergs Pool is a natural saltwater pool, which means it’s unheated and outdoors. Wetsuits are provided, however you may wear your own. |
