Tennis New Zealand is looking to employ a full-time Participation Coordinator to support the delivery of participation programmes and coach development opportunities offered to clubs and coaches throughout New Zealand. Position overview The Participation Coordinator will be responsible for the key administrative aspects of the Tennis Hot Shots, Cardio Tennis and Tennis Xpress programmes, including managing programme registrations, overseeing ordering and delivery of programme resources and creating programme communications. The Participation Programmes Coordinator will also be the main point of contact for all programme deliverers. Support to the Coaching Department will be in the form of course coordination, communications and coach database management. The successful candidate will possess the following skills and attributes: - Experience in working with and/or coaching children
- Experience in event/project management
- Competent in using the Microsoft office programme suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Have a keen interest in all aspects of tennis
- Possess a friendly and approachable personality
- Be able to communicate with a wide range of people both verbally and in writing
- Be a team player committed to a 'win-win' way of working with people
- Have a high attention to detail
- Organised and can manage a number of projects at one time
