THE OPPORTUNITY The Sydney Swans are currently accepting applications for the position of Customer Acquisition Manager in our Consumer Business Department. This position will be responsible for the management of a customer pathway to develop and nurture the relationship we have with our fans. This role would suit an innovative thinker looking to step into a management position. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Identify new fans and develop a plan to welcome them to the Swans family
- Create a customer pathway between fan engagement, retail and membership programs and products
- Design an ongoing engagement strategy, seeking innovative channels to connect with the Swans community
- Develop products or programs to grow relationships with fans and collaborate with colleagues to link existing products or programs to appropriate audiences.
- Contribute to improving the customer experience where all touchpoints enhance engagement
- Utilise analytics and data segmentation to inform direct marketing strategies and provide accurate reporting on key objectives
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR - Proven experience in customer or client services
- Experience managing relationship-driven initiatives or subscription-based products
- Demonstrated personal experience with customer journey and/or UX design for e-commerce
- An ability to drive outcomes through innovation and inquisition
- A practical understanding of customer insights and data analytics, and experience in applying this to direct marketing and strategy development
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite
THE RIGHT PERSON WILL: - Have 5+ years experience in a customer or client services environment
- Be a creative and strategic thinker
- Be solution-focused
- Have initiative to innovate, achieve objectives and contribute to team success
- Champion a customer-centric approach
- Be hands on and a team player, and be willing to apply themselves to any task if needed
- Need to be flexible with working hours, including home match days.
