Detailed Description

Qualifications from a recognised TAFE, College or University in Community Services, Youth Work, Sport and Recreation, or similar and/or a minimum of three year's experience in the provision of services to people experiencing disadvantage;

Develop, implement and coordinate the Reclink Pop Up Sports program in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne;

Establish a formal Relink network of member agencies to assist in the development of programs;

Identify and recruit prospective member organisations and volunteers in the Western Suburbs;

Work closely with identified key stakeholders in the development of the programs;

Establish a diverse range of co-designed sport and recreation programs to engage disadvantaged young people;

Demonstrated understanding and experience of administrative systems, evaluation, innovative practice and high level of verbal and written communication skills;

Proven ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds;

Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining positive working relationships within the community;

Demonstrated experience working with young people;

Demonstrated experience working with multicultural communities;

Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead a small team;

Demonstrated ability to work harmoniously and constructively in a team setting with minimal supervision;

Be a self-starter, reliable and able to work independently, innovatively and respectfully with diverse individuals and groups;

High level of time management and organisational skills and capacity to work effectively within tight time constraints;

A positive National Police Check and Working with Children Check is mandatory

Current drivers licence and own vehicle;

Working 38 hours per week, NFP salary packaging applies;
