Loreto Normanhurst is seeking a passionate and collaborative Sports Coordinator to join our energetic and sport-focused team. This role plays a key part in coordinating and administering assigned extra-curricular sports and activities programs. The successful candidate will contribute to a supportive and high-performing sports environment, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission and values.
This role is permanent full time commencing end of September 2025.
The Role
- Develop, coordinate, and implement assigned extra-curricular sports programs and events. Experience in coordinating Tennis will be highly regarded.
- Manage student administration, behaviour, and wellbeing within assigned sports.
- Recruit and develop high-quality Sports Coaches.
- Oversee training programs and liaise with external stakeholders and professional bodies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and governing body regulations.
- Promote sport programs and contribute to school-wide sporting events.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Valid Working with Children Check.
- Appropriate sports qualifications and/or experience.
- Pool Lifeguard Qualifications (Or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
- Strong organisational, communication, and IT skills.
- Ability to assist in managing the work of the Sports Department in a proactive and efficient manner
- Ability to work well independently, be self-motivated and take initiative
