The Sport and Recreation Funding Consultant is a customer facing role that provides direct support to sport and active recreation organisations seeking financial support through an ORSR grant program.
As a member of the Funding Services team, The role is responsible for the efficient and effective administration of ORSR’s active recreation and sport grant programs including processing and assessing funding applications, providing support to program development and maintaining effective partnerships with key stakeholders.
To perform the role effectively, the Sport and Recreation Funding Consultant provides a high level of customer service to representatives of clubs, associations and other organisations seeking assistance with their grant application.
The role reports to the Manager, Funding Services and works as part of a collaborative team.
The role maintains strong working relationships with the sport and recreation sector to ensure stakeholders are aware of the funding opportunities available and encouraged to submit applications for funding of programs and projects which can deliver opportunities for South Australians to be more active.
