The Financial Operations Executive is a key member of the Finance team, responsible for delivering efficient and accurate financial processing across accounts payable, recievable, reconciliations, banking, and general financial administration. The role supports the daily operations of the Finance Department and contributes to menth-end reporting and compliance processes.

Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable and staff reimbursements using Hubdoc and ApprovalMax
Prepare and issue invoices across sponsorship, grants, and hospitality
Manage daily banking and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end tasks including journals, accruals, and reporting packs
Maintain accurate financial records and support compliance requirements
Coordinate onboarding forms and medical reimbursements for players and staff
Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve finance queries
About You
2-3 years’ experience in a finance, accounts, or administration role
Degree (or working towards) in Finance, Commerce or Accounting
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using modern finance systems i.e. Xero
Highly organised with strong attention to detail and time management
Familiarity with the Australian sporting landscape or experience in team sports is highly valued
Eager to grow in a hands-on environment and contribute to a team culture
